COFFEE TASTING & TRAINING

The tasting room at our coffee roastery plant is accessible to both individuals and group visitors and allows you to taste and compare our finished products in a comfortable environment. Our principles of high quality and full transparency can be experienced with all senses. With state of the art equipment visitors will have the unique opportunity to learn about and taste different ways of preparing coffee in order to discover and identify their favourites. ALAMBÉ is proud to offer you different theme focused programs or more intense training programs.
  • - Option A: The focus is aimed at visitors who wish to acquire a basic knowledge of coffee as a product. The path of coffee is considered from its origin to the cup. During the event participants learn how to taste a cup of coffee for professional purposes. Furthermore, various methods of coffee brewing are presented.
  • - Option B: The focus is aimed at visitors who would like to gain an initial insight into the world of sensory skills for coffee. Participants learn how to taste a cup of coffee for professional purposes. By means of many practical exercises visitors examine the different evaluation criteria such as acidity, mouthfeel/body and aromas in more detail.
  • - Option C: The focus is aimed at participants who wish to gain initial insight into the world of green coffee. The factors of green coffee types, harvesting and processing methods are considered in relation to their influence on the result in the cup. During practical cuppings the participants experience the wide variety of coffee as a product.
